The overview
In this episode Leonard got lucky! His coworker Leslie invited him to play cello in their quartet and during the rehearsal realized that she is actually attracted to him, so they hooked up. Sheldon saw a tie on the doorknob and didn't know how to react and what it was all about.

So he went for a piece of advice to Penny, who seemed to like the idea of Leonard's new relationship, or not...

It turned out that Leslie and Leonard wanted different things from their relatuiship, as Leonard apart from intimacy needed a real relationship and as for Leslie she was interested just about sex. Thus Leonard saw no future of this story and told Penny about that, trying hard to decipher her every reaction.
